Born and raised in Matanzas, Cuba, Oreste Noda began his musical journey as a trombone player before discovering his true calling in the congas. His exceptional talent earned him collaborations with renowned artists, including Ibrahim Ferrer of Buena Vista Social Club, and South African jazz legend Hugh Masekela. As a member of award-winning groups like Ska Cubano and Jazz Jamaica All Stars, Noda has toured the globe, sharing stages with icons such as Soweto Kinch and Denys Baptiste while gaining inspiration from diverse musical influences.
